Delete your account

How to delete your Eduasis account, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.

Our promise, briefly

We're a language learning app, not a data company. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. The only reason we'd ever look at your data in aggregate is to figure out which parts of the app are working and which aren't - so we can make Eduasis better for everyone learning a language.

If you delete your account, we delete your data. Properly.

What we hold about you

Three kinds of things, each because it's needed to make the app work for you:

  • Account essentials: your email and login credentials, so you can sign in.

  • Learning preferences: your native language and the languages you're learning, so lessons match you.

  • Your learning activity: words you've saved as flashcards, comments you've made, and your activity in the app. This is what makes the app yours.

That's it. We don't collect location, contacts, browsing history, or anything that isn't directly part of using Eduasis.

What we do with it

Honestly? Right now, very little - we've been focused on building the product. Going forward, we'll use aggregated, in-app behaviour (which lessons people finish, which features get used, where people get stuck) to make Eduasis better.

In practice:

  • We don't sell your data.

  • We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.

  • We don't use it for anything other than running and improving the app.

What happens when you delete your account

When you confirm deletion, we permanently remove:

  • Your email and login details.

  • Your language preferences.

  • Your saved flashcards, comments, and learning activity.

You'll be logged out of all devices. The deletion is permanent - we can't restore the account or its data afterwards, so download anything you want to keep first.

How to delete your account

The easiest way is to delete your account directly in the Eduasis app:

  1. Open your profile page.

  2. Scroll to “Delete Account”.

  3. Confirm and follow the prompts.

If something goes wrong, or you can't access the app, email us at general@eduasis.io from your registered email address and we'll take care of it for you.

Questions?

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what we hold about you before deciding, email general@eduasis.io and we'll walk you through it.
